How do I go about removing the child domain so that I can re-create the.

I cannot add a new DC to the domain because it has no active servers to verify with. I have a child domain that has no active DCs, the servers that the DCs were on have been deleted. my current gig is still stuck in the the 80s when it comes to this but i'm hoping soon i can work something out that i don't have to drive to the office at 5am during a blizzard to get to the office for 8am. and the up shot is yes, audioBooks and when you have make a 3-5 hour drive somewhere it's not so bad :-DĪlso check with them on 'telecommuting' (remember when it was called that!?!). i still worry about that but the actual drive is fine now. i DO worry about weather related outages and my ability to actually GET THERE if needed in a foot of snow. so that's around an hour drive under ideal conditions. In my current job i have a 40 mile drive each way. then i got another job and lived around 30 mins away. I used to like 10 minutes away from my first IT gig. moving to the middle might bea good compromise. if i had it to do all over again though, i would live closer, but it sounds like your girl isnt on board with that. i commuted 1.5hrs each way for college and got used to it real quick. but youll get used to it and it wont feel that long in just a couple weeks.
